Languages

After 2 weeks of studying Portuguese on Livemocha (language exchange site), resulting in me learning how to spell the word está (“is”), I got depressed and enrolled in an intermediate Spanish course to cheer myself up. Learning about how to book cruise vacation definitely beats learning “the boy drank, the boy sat”. I then got further inspired (mostly because I was missing writing cover letters so much) and wrote to Livemocha to see if they need any interns.

  1. You should really try the BBC’s language programs. They really well made. They have even won awards. I did both French (even though I kinda know how to speak French already) and Spanish.
