Portuguese countryside

My Christmas was spent on over-eating wonderful home cooked Portuguese food and relaxing in a lovely village 2 hours away from Lisbon.
Globalization hasn’t skipped this place. In a final shopping stop at the local Chinese (!!) owned store, I ran across “Sharm Al-Sheikh” magnet. Perhaps they were overstocked in Egypt..

The Gift – Portuguese Music Invasion

I went to see these guys live in Studio RJ last night. Apparently they fill up stadiums back in Portugal. I could see why. The are something like cool mix between Coldplay, Evanescense, and Amy Winehouse.
